Versions

There are three types of new versions that may be offered:

1. Release. A new release version is the very latest official version. Depending on which version you already have, this may be a paid upgrade.
2. Update. The purpose of an update version is to provide bug fixes.
   Update version numbers contain a third number near the end. For example, “2.1.5” is a free update for registered users of v2.1.
3. Test. A new test version is unofficial and made available for those who want the very latest bug fixes. If you try it out and provide your results to Always Thinking, it helps us improve the software. This is also the best opportunity for you to request a particular fix or feature. The best way for us to know what you want and need is simply for you to tell us.
   Test version numbers contain a letter near the end. For example, “2.0.1b7”
